The initial idea for this project sprang to life after watching a lot of music documentaries for Uni. I personally love watching documentaries of all sorts, and music is one of my biggest passions. As a big Queen fan, I did of course include a lot of Queen documentaries into the marathon. And as an ever bigger Adam fan, it saddened me a bit that none of them were new enough to include the fantastic Q+AL collaboration. And just like that, it hit me. Why don't I just make one?

 

The idea grew on me quickly, and I couldn't let it go. I know it's going to be a lot of work, and I'm going to have to learn a lot, but I want to do it. And I want to include fans into it, because I want to show how much this collaboration has meant for the fans of both Adam and Queen alike. 

 

I also want to create it to get a comprehensive view of the journey and growth everyone involved have done. To my knowledge, there is no long, detailed account of the Q+AL collaboration in a motion picture form. I want to change that. The documentary will, of course, be unofficial, as I'm not by any means affiliated with Queen or Adam's managements. 

 

It's crazy, and it's going to be a lot of work, but I hope you are as excited about this as I am.

These are the goals of the production. They may get updated as the process progresses.

 

• To create a full-length documentary, aiming at a minimum of an hour

• To involve fans from all locations, ages, genders, races, sexualities etc from both fandoms

• To show the complete picture of the journey from the first time the collaboration sprang to life to the present day

• To aim on a somewhat high quality production

• To keep the finished documentary completely free of charge to watch

• To, as the project comes to its final stage, be able to share a great documentary with fans, employees and management of the Queen+Adam Lambert production, as well as, hopefully, the fantastic musicians and artists up on that huge Q-shaped stage.
